Strategizing Success – Holly Haynes on Networking and Podcasting

Episode 066 Online Creator Podcast

Hey there entrepreneurs and CEO’s! Welcome to the Online Creator podcast and this week’s episode, Strategizing Success with guest Holly Haynes. I’m your host, Kim Tradewell and my mission is to amplify voices, share wisdom and knowledge from innovators and leaders in this online space. My wish is for you to leave each episode with the right mix of clarity, community and inspiration to encourage growth and to find your confidence to open the door to endless possibilities in business and life.

The online creator podcast recently hosted entrepreneur Holly Haynes, an industry expert featured in ‘Thrive’ and ‘Entrepreneur.com.’ Holly helps female entrepreneurs create scalable systems to grow their business without spending endless hours on social media.

In the conversation with host Kim, Holly shares insights on how her journey into podcasting created an unexpected networking opportunity and why she prizes audio content as a linchpin for content development.

Holly opened up about her business strategy and how podcasting played a pivotal role in expanding her network. Interestingly, she found the casual conversations that transpired before and after taping a podcast episode provided significant networking opportunities. These interactions led to introductions to other podcasters and business-savvy individuals, contributing to a mutually beneficial growth of networks.

Kim agreed with this, noting how Holly’s organic interactions combined with her wealth of business knowledge make her a valued guest. Kim shared her enthusiasm regarding how Holly leverages podcasting and audio content for all her content development, terming it as ‘exciting’ and ‘inspirational.’

Focusing on using audio content not just for the sake of creation, Holly utilized it as a valuable networking tool. According to her, running a business is all about working smarter, not harder. Networking isn’t just about meeting new people, it’s about providing value by sharing insights and knowledge with others in the industry.

She took this one step further, creating her CEO week, where she set up time specifically for networking and helping out others in her network. Kim further agreed with Holly’s stance on leaning in to help and serve, making authentic, valuable content, to serve and grow your network.

Another core business strategy Holly discussed was “income stacking.” This strategy involves creating a suite of products or services to serve different audience levels. The same fundamental offering is providing service or products at beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels. The various levels are distinguished not necessarily by the offerings’ complexity, but by the degree of access to Holly that’s provided.

Holly observed that such a system is advantageous since it’s transparent and eliminates customer confusion. It also aligns well with her business ethos of helping her customers regain control of their schedules, ultimately leading to control over their life.

Holly Haynes’s perspective is a testament to the power of networking and the potential of repurposing content to strategize your way to success. Her insight into making services available at different levels to different audiences offers a new angle on looking at scalability. With elements like podcasting, networking, and income stacking, Holly’s model offers valuable takeaways for entrepreneurs aiming to scale their businesses effectively and efficiently while also valuing their time and lifestyle.

This is a conversational-style podcast filled with genuine advice, actional tips and strategies to help you be seen and heard in your industry. Check out more episodes here Online Creator Podcast.
